Normalize genius in youth.

Genius Prize Competitions

Genius Prize empowers youth to focus their natural creativity to make positive change in their communities.  GP Youth Competitions bring together teams of youth to compete in creative demonstrations of solutions to real-world problems.  GP participants cultivate teamwork, public speaking, open-ended problem-solving, and other important skills that will enrich all areas of their lives.  By recognizing talent in local youth, we help communities discover genius hidden within neighborhoods, activate untapped potential, and improve neighborhoods from within.

Competition Format

Teams of youth select a problem to solve in one of three competition sections: Live Action Presentation, Video Presentation, or Gizmo Section.  Competition includes a typed Solution Form and timed presentation before a panel of judges.
